The Cathodes

The Cathodes are a synth-pop band based near Manchester in the United Kingdom.

The Cathodes officially came up with the band name on 21st March 2020, two days before the first lockdown here in the UK. The band primarily consists of Dave Forward (vocals and guitar), Julian Whettam (keyboards), Paul Cargill (bass) and Dan Hadley (drums). The Cathodes are on Fred Cannon's USA based label - Creative and Dreams Music Network, LLCĀ®.

Released on 26th April 2024 This is an EP containing 5 tracks which all feature and are dedicated to the late Dave Townson on lead guitar. The title track also features Eddie Mooney from The Fortunes (on bass) and is also available separately as a single. The Heritage Chart
We have appeared a number of times in the Heritage Chart presented by former BBC presenter - Mike Read and can highly recommend following this chart show.
